Waiver trades

I am playing in NABA - the Skydog/Ron project.

I don't think waiver trades are working properly.

Angel Gomez was placed on waivers sometime in early Sept, and I attempted to claim him, I have one of the worst records in the league.

I didn't get a message in a few days, so I checked my mail and noticed that he was then traded in a waiver trade. I have a few screenshots if necessary. But I know I put in a waiver claim (not sure how I can prove that, although, I did get a message of the trade in the "manager's" news, is that the game notifying me of this personally b/c I had a stake in it? ala when somebody signs a free agent that I had bid on? I don't know).

Presumably he was traded to a team with a better record than you?

Were you using version 9.1.6? I'm not familiar with NABA - is this an online league?

If you have screenshots, they are always a big help. If you could post them, please do so.

I have no proof that I actually put in a claim for him, I don't know if there is a report within the game that generates rejected or accepted claims etc. However, my thought process was - since it showed up in my "Manager's news" box, and since I put in a claim for him, the game was giving me knowledge of this player b/c I had a stake in him. ala free agency. But just a theory. I usually sim watching the waiver list to look for players who can help my poor squad. I knew of this player since I traded for him and traded him away. And I definitely would have wanted him back.

I think that zekester in the other thread has it right. Unless you were watching closely and can say for certain that they didn't try to sneak the player through again, I don't think that we have evidence of a bug.

Depending upon your news settings, you'll probably get regular news reports of any substantial trades happening around the league.
