BZ 1892: Minor bug with transaction reporting

For whatever reason, when a human-controlled team DFA & waivers someone, it isn't showing up in the League's Complete Transaction log, even though AI-controlled teams who DFA & waiver someone does.

I usually DFA/waiver by right clicking on the player. I haven't tried dragging them into the DFA/waiver area to see if it still doesn't get reported in that log or not.

It's very minor, but it's hopefully also an easy fix.

Can you test out the dragging and dropping method?

Are you using 9.1.6?

Does it show up in any transaction log, like the team-specific one?

OK - I just did and yes - if I first drag to the waiver wire and then drag that same player to DFA, it shows up in the Complete Transaction Log (All Transactions) as two separate transactions for the same player. So it's only the right-click method that isn't showing up at all in the Complete Transaction Log.

I am using 9.1.6.

And no - the right-click method doesn't show up in my team's "All Transactions" log either.

So it's probably just some minor thing that was overlooked when doing BOTH waiver and DFA in the same transaction using the right-click that it just forgets to write to the transaction log.

Strange set of conditions, but good to have it logged. Thanks for reporting it. I have logged the issue as BZ 1892.

For what it's worth, I think I've noticed this bug since OOTP 2006 or whenever waivers/DFAs made their way into the game. I just never reported it because I assumed someone else would and it would eventually make into the patch as a minor bug fix. But since it's gone on this long, figured I'd point it out. I can't imagine it's only happening to me, probably just most people either don't DFA/waive that way, or they just don't notice.

This issue has been claimed fixed for the upcoming patch (post 9.1.6). If after installing it you still see this behavior, please post in Tech Support. Thanks.
