Game freezing on 21st season of sim
I created a MLB Template, was running a simulation to get some history, started in 1985, and the game froze on april 30th, 2006. So I force close OOTP (Its not responding) and reload the league, and it starts freezing at random spots in April.
I ran the simulation again about 5 times, and the same thing happens. So I assume its a problem with my template, so I spend 3 hours creating a new template, and the freeze is still happening at the same spot (Its always the 21st season). If I start the league in 1975, it freezes 1996 etc.. Edit: I am using the latest patch. Last edited by Mittal; 09-06-2008 at 10:42 AM. |

It's possible that it's your template causing the issue. It's also quite possible that you are simply running out of system resources as the league files grow in size. How much RAM do you have?

1GB Ram, although I do not think that is a problem, because I simmed 50 seasons of a similiar sized league previously without problems.
Logically it seems my template is the problem, but I cannot figure out how. All I did was change the names in the Standard Fictional league template to match MLB names, and a few settings in the game rules and options. (Also as I mentioned, I created the template over again and got the same exact problem) Last edited by Mittal; 09-06-2008 at 10:51 PM. |
