Game freezing on 21st season of sim

I created a MLB Template, was running a simulation to get some history, started in 1985, and the game froze on april 30th, 2006. So I force close OOTP (Its not responding) and reload the league, and it starts freezing at random spots in April.

I ran the simulation again about 5 times, and the same thing happens. So I assume its a problem with my template, so I spend 3 hours creating a new template, and the freeze is still happening at the same spot (Its always the 21st season). If I start the league in 1975, it freezes 1996 etc..

Edit: I am using the latest patch.

It's possible that it's your template causing the issue. It's also quite possible that you are simply running out of system resources as the league files grow in size. How much RAM do you have?

1GB Ram, although I do not think that is a problem, because I simmed 50 seasons of a similiar sized league previously without problems.

Logically it seems my template is the problem, but I cannot figure out how. All I did was change the names in the Standard Fictional league template to match MLB names, and a few settings in the game rules and options. (Also as I mentioned, I created the template over again and got the same exact problem)

Well, depending upon your settings, going 50 years in one league doesn't mean that you can go 50 in another, or even 21. I don't know of any template problems that would only pop up 21 seasons down the line. Presumably if it were the template, the error would happen sooner.

Could you try creating a league with the same settings without making a template and see how long that one lasts?
