Importing help....

I am trying to import a roster set (30 teams) into a completely fictional league of 24 teams. I just want all the players to go into free agency so I can hold an inaugural draft to position the players throughout the league. Can anyone tell me how to do this or point me in the right direction.

If you import the roster set and then go to League Setup > Functions > Release All Players and Schedule Inaugural Draft does that not work?

i know that but Im trying to import a real roster set and having trouble trying to get all the real players from the real player league file to transfer over into the fictional universe that I have created with 24 teams. Can someone please provide me with the stuff I need to transfer the players from one league file to the other so I can release all players to hold an inaugural draft. Once I get the players into the fictional universe; I know what to do. Getting them there is my problem. Need anything else just ask me

Have you saved the league you want to transfer as a template, then added it into your game using Game Setup -> League Setup -> Add League -> Create League from Template?

um...i just want to import the rosters. I have created a completely fictional league but I want to import real rosters from another league file that I downloaded from padresfan website.

If you already created the fictional league, then I believe that you would have to import the roster set league, set the leagues to share free agents, then delete the roster set league.
