Batter Takes extra at-bat at end of game
Hi,
I don't know if you're aware of this so I let you know. The last batter of the game got out again after the pbp said the game was over. I don't remember the wording of the play by play but I'll give you the game log: "1-2: Fly out, F9 (Line Drive, 89S) Top of the 9th over - 0runs (etc) Game Over...Brooklyn defeats Washington, 6 to 0 1-2: Foul Ball, location: 2F Game Over ... Brooklyn defeats Washington, 6 to 0 1-2: Fly out, F7 (Flyball, 7S)" Then the ball went sideways from right field to left field, and the box score showed an extra at-bat for the player. hope this helps, Frank |
