Problem after downloading update.

I attempted a new install after erasing all traces of ootp9 from my computer. It won't start now and "encounters a problem and needs to close.

What else can i delete to get it working?

Same problem here. I instal;led the patched and when the game started it crashed, I then uninstalled the game and reloaded it and the same problem. I even deleted all the OOTP files on my computer and it would not restart. Help

I have now uninstalled again and redownloaded the original OOTP exe file from the website and I am still getting the same error. I can not get the game to start. I am including the error file to see if you can help

I have now cleaned out the registry also and reinstalled the game and it is still crashing...Please help

Same problem here. Everything ran fine on 9.1.6. Upgraded to 9.2 and now game crashes as soon as I try to execute the .exe. uninstalled game completely and re-installed. rebooted PC as well.

Same problem here. Game crashes at start up. Tried re-installing. Still crashes. I hope someone at least acknowledges they're aware of this problem.

We're aware of this and looking into the problem! One of our testers has the same issue now, so that helps.

I compiled a new exe file now for testing. Please download the zip file from here: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/ootp/misc/ootp9.zip

Unzip it and replace your ootp9.exe file with the file from the archive.

Just downloaded and installed 9.2.1. Was able to launch the game as well as continue my saved game. so far it looks good. Thanks !

That worked as well. Of course I didn't test everything, but the game did load and my saved game loaded as well. first glance no issues are apparent.
