please help

i have been playing a solo league in which i have finished 3 seasons including the playoffs. i was loading the game today and my computer froze up and now everytime i try to load the game my computer freezes when it loads at like 5%. is there anyway to fix this or is it over for this franchise?

It's not over for the franchise. You should be able to go into the right directory and copy the league folder to a backed up location. Then, once you get your game working again, you could re-install the league. That is, if the league itself isn't the problem.

do you think you could elaborate more on what i need to do. im not used to handling files outside of the game

hopefully you have a PC,


-go to the my documents folder
-Out of the Park Developments
-OOTP9
-saved_games

copy the appropriate .lg file to another location (it'll be ABC.lg if your league name is ABC, etc) outside of the previous folder tree

-uninstall OOTP9
-reinstall OOTP9

-copy the .lg folder from the new location back into the previous location



I'm not sure that uninstalling OOTP even removes the files in the documents folder, but copy it elsewhere to be safe anyway.


If the game doesn't work properly after reinstalling you probably have a much larger problem.
