Crashes in "Free Agents". "Waivers" or "Transactions".

I have been using 9.2.2.
I am in Vista.
I'm runing 1 game, 1 league. I'm in year 2012 - December
I get a very repeatable game crash upon pressing "Free Agents". "Waivers" or "Transactions".

I have restored a back up of my league (july 2012) with the same result.

I have uninstalled Ootp and then reinstalled to a different directory. Same results.

I have the same results in a New League creation- plain jane setup.

I have no new add ons, or internal software changes.
Nothing with virus, did a scan disk and defrag.
I never had crashes until 9.2.2.

Thanks, but last night I resolved the problem by installing to a different partition. I then repasted my .lg file and everything worked.

I still have the non working version on my original drive. I'll use the patch & see if it resolves the problem.

BTW, My wife tells me my computer was on during a power outage & I may have had the game on - this may have caused the problem.

Odd. There is another user with the same problem caused by a power outage. Not only that, just yesterday, my father's laptop battery died while he was playing the game. He now can't get the game to do anything except startup. I'll check with Markus on this and get back to you.

I have also experienced a similar problem. However, I have recently purchased OOTP so it reflected the latest updates. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still experience crashes if I select waivers, free agents or transactions under the ML menu. I am in season 1, and the game date is August 8, 2008.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I you don't have another partition to install to (see above) I would recommend uninstalling and then reinstall to a differently named directory.
