How often does your database get corrupted?

Seems I can go about 2-3 weeks or so before a corruption kills my replay.

This last time I think I went the better part of a month - got to the point where I stopped backing up every day. Then today, kablooey.

I'd gotten about 8 seasons in this go around so consider myself lucky. Right now, I'm debating between returning to about 3 seasons ago, or starting over for what is at least the 10th time.

It could be that the leagues you are trying to run are too large for your computer to handle. Which operating system are you using, how much RAM do you have, and what is your processor speed? Have you tried any of the following suggestions: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...auto-play.html

I've had the same experience.

I simmed 100 years with a ML/5 minors structure. Load and save times are very slow. But I love playing leagues with existing history.
My PC is about 3 years old. AMD chip with 1GB ram and windows XP.

I will give some of these suggestions a go - thanks for the recommendation.

The machine I'm using is a very recent Mac laptop, with plenty of RAM. But I'm using Parallels and running the PC version of OOTP on that, which could be part of my challenge. I believe I can allocate more RAM to the application and will see how that fixes the problem.
