OOTP 9 Has Stopped Working...

I applied the 9.2.2 patch, and OOTP won't load. It doesn't get to the startup screen - rather, I get the title message every time I start it up and nothing else.

I'm running Vista, have disabled my McAfee as well as Windows Defender. I've also clicked "run as administrator."

I've also gone through this in the FAQ and still no dice.

Any help is appreciated!

Did you do the full install of the patch or just the executable?

You didn't happen to have any sudden power outages while the game was being run, did you?

Can you link me to a full install of the patch? I followed the link where it says "Latest news" up top.

I'm pretty sure I did the executable only, but I can't find any other way of doing the patch.

If I download and install the full version from the bottom link, is that 9.2.2?

I believe it is 9.2.2 so afterwards, you should apply the 9.2.3 patch. I don't think Andreas has updated the full versions to 9.2.3 yet.

Also, try uninstalling and then installing again but this time into a differently named directory. Seems that cleared up a similar problem for someone else and it may work for you.
