Post-deadline Waiver Trade issue (online league)

Not sure if anybody else is seeing this problem:

In the GUBA, we've been traditionally processing post deadline trades outside of OOTP, in order to have our own guidelines to follow.

So, I thought I'd come up with a solution to make these trades work in-game, because trying to make trades after the deadline ended up with the "These players must clear waivers" message and wouldn't process the trade.

We run 10 day sims, so I set the waiver length to 9 days, waived the two players who were to be traded, and then ran the 10 day sim. Both players showed up as CLEARED Waivers, so I went ahead with the trade. Same error as before. That's strange, both players have cleared.

This was using the FORCE TRADE button as commish, too.

Anybody have an idea on how I could do this without manually editing the players in question and changing their teams? I really hate doing it this way because it doesn't reflect the trade in player history, but right now it's the only way I know of to make post-deadline trades.

Certainly when playing a solo league and doing a waiver trade the game automatically puts the players on waivers after clicking "complete trade" - does the same not happen then in an online league if you are commish?

No.

The 'complete trade' button doesn't isn't even able to be clicked. It remains greyed out if OOTP doesn't think the trade is fair, which is why the force trade option is there.

I guess the simple fix would be for the force trade button to override everything, including waiver requirements.
