Teams... Gone!

I'm running 9.2.3 on a Mac G4 with OS 10.4.11. Last night I loaded my longtime game and saw that the teams had disappeared. The leagues were still there, though, and so were the players, their contract statuses, even their faces. The history was all intact, too. Ditto for the txt folder. I then checked one of the minor leagues, and the teams were all there.

So while in my AAA league I clicked on the major league team name next to one of the minor league leaders. (That is, his "current" team was one of the big-league ones.) That brought up the big-league team's home page -- something I hadn't been able to get to before. From there I tried to go to the major league's home page... and was able to, suddenly. Plus, all of the teams had returned. Now everything appears to be normal.

The only thing I can think of that I did differently was starting a new game. I was curious about something -- of course, I can't remember what -- and wanted to see how it'd play out for a season or two; then I'd go back to my incumbent game.

Any ideas on this one?

Thanks.

Sorry for the delay in replying - I've tried several times to advance even one day in this game and I've either given up after 30 minutes or the computer has given up after running low on VM.

I did notice that your retired file is around 230Mb which is a lot of players - how long has your league been running for?
