Mac question

In the system requirements for the Mac it says an active internet connection is required to start the game. Can anyone tell me if this means on is needed every time I want to start running the game? Or if it just means when I want to install or start a new game? Cause if its the first its a bit of a downer!

If it's still in, then it's on every startup I believe, but I had a feeling it was fixed in ootp9.

Obviously someone with a Mac would be able to answer this question better.

An internet connection is no longer necessary to start the Mac version of the game. This requirement was removed in one of the patches this year, though I don't remember which one off-hand.

Thanks for your help. I got an email from Andreas Raht saying the same thing basically. It only checks the authentication if you are online.
