Error code 130

Corrupt, incomplete or old file format. User is using version 9.1.11 and its not working at all for me to load into the game.

I've never seen this error before.

You are trying to load someone's saved game from an older version into a newer version? There was no version 9.1.11 as far as I know. Do you mean 9.2.11?

Yes, was a 9.2.11 file that was being attempted to be loaded into his 9.2.12 version.

Same error happened when the file was uploaded using 9.2.13 as well.

Same error also occured when uploading with 9.2.13 into a 9.2.13 version.

So even being on the same versions I was able to replicate this error with this team file.

Completely uninstalled ootp from the system (and all related folders/sub-directories) and re-installed from scratch. Loaded league file, made no changes to the team at all and exported then attempted to import and still same error.

Okay. So this is an online league. Alan T is attempting to upload his team to darkcloud and darkcloud is getting a version error when attempting to load Alan T's team back into his copy of the game?

You both need to get on the same version of the game (preferably 9.2.13). The commish needs to release a file using that version and the GMs need to open the file and export using that same version. All of this version swapping is only going to muddy the waters.

If this is the case, it should work when exporting with 9.2.13 and importing with 9.2.13 which it doesn't as I mentioned above. It still gives the same error message that the file is either corrupt, incomplete or using an old format.

After messing with it no less than 5 or 6 hours today between the two of us, we determined the problem was with the actual team itself. That team could not export successfully on any computer, any version with any human manager. The computers/human managers could export any other team tried.

So the only solution we could think of was deleting the team and creating a new identical one and shipping all of the players over between teams and re-setting it back up. Then it worked as it should have.

Oh. That's very odd. Have you already moved forward with the league? I would have liked to try to figure out what happened to that team in particular.

At least you guys found a workaround.

We did move forward, it is a fast paced league (1 season every week). I don't know if DC still has the old file or not. I think both of us by that point were a little frustrated with it, so I wouldn't be suprised if he didn't save anything. I don't have the file any longer myself.
