removing player history question

Hi
i am running a league that i started from one of the template mod's that i downloaded. how do i turn off the player's history that was acquired before i started running my league? all the players have history before my league started. is there a way to turn off that part of the players history? thanks.

Well, you can go to: Game -> Game Setup -> League Setup -> (click on the applicable league on the left) -> Functions -> (one of four Erase options)

Does that get you what you need?

well, i am not sure. i don't want to select one of the options to erase stats and have it erase my current year statistics. i am in the first year of running this fictional league. those are the only stats that i want to keep.
on the players history page, there's history that goes back a few years. and i want to only erase the history that is previous to my current season. i don't know what option to choose. sorry if this question sounds easy to answer.i just don't want to do something that'll erase my current league season stats.

You want to erase stats or the player history text that records accomplishments and transactions?

Either way, you can only erase it or not. You can't erase beyond a particular point. Had you chosen to erase the information when you started playing, you'd have no problem. Since you've now developed your own history that you don't want to lose, you're stuck with all of it.

ok, that's what i figured. oh well. it's not a huge deal. it's just a bit annoying to see.

i wanted to get rid of the player history information.

Yeah, unless you wanted to go one by one and edit the information yourself (with the Edit History button to the upper right of the Player History section), you're stuck with what you've got. Sorry.
