computer problems help ootp9

so here is the problem OOTP will not work i have reinstalled the game and still does the same thing... what happens is i open ootp then try to open one of my leagues at that point the blue screen of death happens... the error is as follows

its a blue screen with a bunch of crap on it but here are the errors

driver_irql_not_less_or_equal

stop: 0x000000d1 (oxe1ff0000, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xefb61d50)

can anyone help? i have tried redownloading drivers but nothing seems to work... it mainly will only happen with OOTP and just started happening the other day

Does only one league cause this problem, or will attempting to load any league cause a crash? What if you start a new league?

Sounds like the league file is corrupted. If it's for an online league, get the commish to give you a link to download a new copy of the league file. Delete the current one, then try the new download and see if it works.

thats what i thought as well but its not corrupt all other gm's file is fine... i did notice that the one league that works does not have any faces when you click on a player.... the one that is not working has the real faces with the player... could that be the problem? if so how do i turn that off?

You might need to reinstall Internet Explorer if your explorer.exe file is giving you trouble.

Are you running other programs alongside OOTP 9, particularly antivirus ones? You could try shutting them off.

Please go to My Computer, right-click your hard drive (probably C and select Properties. Then please report your used and free hard drive space.

As there hasn't been an update from the OP for a couple of weeks, this thread will be closed for housekeeping purposes. If this is still a problem, let us know and we'll reopen it.
