Ozzie Smith causing OOTP to crash???

Anytime I insert Ozzie into a game once the game has started, OOTP crashes. Pinch hitter, pinch runner, doesn't matter. He goes in, the game goes down. If he starts, the game seems to run fine, it's only when he comes in as a substitution. Any ideas?

No other subs will cause a crash? Is there anything unusual about Ozzie's ratings? What if you sub him in defensively?

Are you using version 9.2.13?

It is now crashing when I click on "Substitutions" when I play in PbP mode. I haven't downloaded any patches because I haven't been able to figure out how, even using the manual. I will give it another try though, since I can't play at all right now!

Downloading the latest version of the game is easy! Just go to the patch thread in the general discussion section,download the full PC setup(assuming you do use a PC) once the download finishes,click run.from there its just a basic install right over top of the old version.

Ya, apparantely I made things too hard before. I was able to do it, almost right after I posted this morning, but since i had to work, I haven't been able to see if that fixed everything. Gonna check now.
