Help unlicencing
I want to remove my copy of OOTP9 from my computer at work, but I'm having trouble working out how to unlicence it.
I do not have the OOTP program group in My Programs list because my work profile was somehow porked, so they reset my profile and therefore all my shortcuts and various other folders that I had setup have vanished. So I cannot "uninstall" the game because, according to windows, there is no installed game. I also cannot use the shortcut to unlicence because there is no shortcut. I searched the forums and found a reference to a file called LCMMFU.CPL. I found this in my Windows folder and followed the instructions on how to open it using Control Panel and therefore unlicence the game...unfortunately, it doesn't work. When I right click and "Open with Control Panel", I get nothing. So.....after all that...can someone please tell me how to unlicence my game of OOTP9 on my work PC pls? |

Try the attached. It's an OOTP9 shortcut I made into an unlicense shortcut. You'll need to unzip it first as the forum software doesn't seem to accept shortcuts.

dola..
Note that that is only likely to work if the game is installed at ["C:\Program Files\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 9\ootp9.exe"] If you have it somewhere else, find where it is, right-click it and select create shortcut. Then right-click the shortcut, select properties and in the target field add " -unlicense" (exclude the quotes, but include the space) after the location that is already in there. After that, you might want to rename the shortcut and save it somewhere in case you ever want to unlicense again.
