Game crashing when new league created

I've been trying to create a new league all day and OOTP 9 keeps crashing whenever I attempt to load the new league I've created. It launches with no problem and I can load previous leagues I've created, but when I attempt to load my newest league, it causes a crash.

I'm trying to create a league with 26 teams to emulate MLB from 1977-1993 (two six-team divisions in the NL, two seven-team divisions in the AL).

Could that be causing the crash (an imbalanced league structure)?

If anyone can help me with this I'd appreciate it.

The league structure seems fine. As long as you have an even number of teams in each subleague, you shouldn't have real scheduling problems.

Did you end up with any errors during league creation? Maybe when you saved the game or closed OOTP? Could your computer have shut off while saving?

It seems to be fine now except for a random crash every now and then. I'll just have to monitor it and make sure I back up my files consistently. Thanks!
