Is there a preferred time to switch from 8 to 9?
The GUBA is switching to V9, and the postseason just finished. In-game date is currently 11/1, which is "Offseason Begins" as far as league events.
Is it preferable to switch ASAP, or to switch on like Opening Day of next season like the 6 -> 2K7 swap? |

Also, I did a test conversion and put it out to the league. There were some strange issues, to say the least.
The biggest problem was that a lot of finances were recalculated - teams that aquired players midway through the season were charged for 100% of the player salary, and the teams that traded away players were charged with 0% of it. That's a pretty huge bug, considering it essentially means that either A) somebody would have to go through every single trade made during the season and calculate how much money should be paid by each team, or 2) the league needs to roll back to OOTP 8 and go through the offseason on that version. Thoughts? |

Right after championship is played.
Answer is different from 6 to 9 however: before opening day (see manual).
