Thanks Markus,

I sure wish you could help those of us plagued with the "runtime errors" so we could enjoy this great update.

Thanks again for all of your hard work!!!

(Right now I have 6.12)

after 6.12 just install the full version of expansion 6.51 only

http://ootpdevfiles.com/ootp/ootp65setup.exe

full version of expansion is already updated to 6.51

Here is the list of final fixes/tweaks:
- Fixed the 'bad player bug'
- Fixed throwing error scoring
- Fixed displayed fans interest in team financial report
- Fixed importing of historical rookies, some players with few career ABs got overrated
- Fixed importing of single players
- Fixed reporting of contract extentions in the player HTML report
- Changed the transaction reports so that Catobase should work in the future
- Roster limits in the postseason are now correct
- Players who retired mid-season no longer go to the free agent pool
- Traded draft picks are now properly reset when the draft happened
- Added the option to enter a seperate path for team exports in the online league options. If you do not want to use this, make sure the path matches the starting directory of the FTP server.
- The allstar game does no longer edit pitcher roles
- Fixed allstar game generating duplicate players bug
- Fixed Cato problems with players retiring during the season and trading entries
- Fixed a DFA loophole

Enjoy!
Markus
I don't see anything about offseason injuries here...

From what I gather, owners have to export using the old version if the commish hasn't upgraded.

I don't get it. What is so different that it doesn't work? Markus specifically answered "yes" that it was backwards compatible. Am I wrong on that definition in that it should work then?

Silly that it went through months of public beta and nobody figured this out...

That would be forwards compatible (I think).

its very simple

if the commish doesnt upgrade to 6.51 then you cant use 6.51 to export.

if commish uses 6.51, then you can use ootp 6 previous versions to export.

I see all sorts of threads with 6.5abcdefg bugs poping up. Howeve, none of them is pointing to issues with 6.51....

So....is it safe to upgrade as commissioner of an online league?

Ok this sounds stupid but

Ok I bought OOTP 6 a month ago. I bought the expansion today not sure why the expansion freezes up on me. I can a newb at adding stuff so I have a roster set off of baseballsimcentral, I addes the roster to 6.51 and now it just freezes up. Is there soemthing I am doing wrong? I usually sim the leagues offline. So any help would be appreciated.

That was a bit of a struggle, I'll admit. But it's here:

https://www.elicense.com/ootpdevelopments/store/

and it looks like it's $9.95

If you're determined to play in the 6.0+ versions, I'd definitely go with 6.51 - IMHO, the expansion pack was well worth it and did a great deal to minimize the historically perplexing sign and release problems.
