The manual is going to need to be another 10 pages long just to include a reference to all of those abbreviations.

I never used Catobase and never was sure what the fuss was about. I get it now! Sweet Markus!

CATO? Great! ... inside OOTP 2006? Even better

League History Index
Subleague Index
Subleague Batting Register

Some comments:
1) Every history page is generated on demand, that means no additional disc space is needed.
2) Every league has such a history, no matter if your rookie-level minor league or your fictional league.
3) These shots where made on a screen resolution of 1200 * 1600, displaying the ability of OOTP 2006 to handle every resolution including and above 1024*768.
4) Jeff Cato was not hired/hijacked for this... it's an example of what the database engine of OOTP is capable off.
5) The colors are still 'beta' However, they can be adjusted via a CSS file...
6) No more comments until the next blog

clutch!

So this is all stored in the game itself? Aka no need to have a whole disk drive just for CATO?

indeed. It's answered my one concern. While i'm kind of sad that I can't do that now, I'm also glad if that makes sense

Nice timing.

Now all we need is a screenshot of the player pages, but I can wait.

I noticed on the third screen that there was a player named Cam Death. Judging by his stats, he certainly appears to be a rally-killer.

Very nice!

Any chance we can get a report like this?

http://lba.ootp-online.com/database/teams/sar/pos.html (Cato version)

The good news is that if the game is coming out in the spring, the manual doesn't need to be out until winter. That leaves some time for those extra pages...

I must say though, very very nice work. Shocked by the inclusion of VORP...Maybe the good people at BP play OOTP...

The Philadelphia Ferrets are going to have to reconsider how they run their business.

This is awesome stuff.
