PE2: "value"
[As you can see from my other post, I can't seem to search for this.]
I'm wondering what the "value" numbers shown by the editor are. My guess is that the show the way the computer values players, but I was hoping for more detail - e.g., "replay" vs. "total" vs. "career," etc. Also, does the computer see things (and use them in valuation) that we don't? I ask b/c I noticed a player who's ratings all exceeded those of another player, yet who had a higher "replay value." Sure enough, the computer will play the higher "value" player, despite the ratings. The interesting thing: the guy with the mysteriously low "value" stinks in test sims. This is all very weird. Anyone know the story here? |

I believe the computer's replay value, works in replay mode, it is designed to help the computer play the players who actually played more often during that season, over players with better ratings, who only played occasionally. |
