And it's different than a Quickstart. I save a Quickstart first thing, right after creating the league. But a Quickstart doesn't let you go back and fix your own stupid mistakes. A QS doesn't let you change league structure or starting year. A QS doesn't let you play with initial draft settings or add another independent league. A QS doesn't allow you to start with a brand new batch of players/coaches/scouts.

I'm coming across as a bit of a crazy nut, I guess. I'm just really disappointed - I so loved my solo dynasty using 6.51a, but I put it on hold when CatoBase wouldn't work with it anymore. I was looking forward to recreating it with even more depth with the new version, but I've tried three times, and spent somewhere upwards of 20 hours doing setups, and I want to keep trying things to get it perfect, and to do so, I have to go back and do the whole thing over again.

I'll shut up now - it's a moot point anyway, it seems.

I agree with you 100% on this...I spent about 5 hours creating my PERFECT universe, historical MLB, fictional league, everything...but forgot to check "hidden players", one of my favorite new features in this game!! I've tried convincing myself that it wasn't a very important feature, but it is!!!!

I haven't played since, so I think once the patch comes out I will redo everything for one last time (keep my fingers crossed)

It's no big deal as the game is unplayable anyway, as I've simmed up to 1935 and it took me 15 minutes just to close the game last time. Yay for patch.

IIRC, they said before July. That being said, take as long as it needs to tweak as much AI as possible. This game is awesome and once these AI bugs are dealt with, my wife is going to forget who I am.

I was thinking the original announcement was by July as well. Maybe I was wrong. Maybe they've changed their minds.
