I keep asking this question and not getting an answer

Is there any way to be the commissioner and run a team but not have the AI ever mess with that team in any way? If so what are the settings to do that?

If you are commish, and running a team, the AI shouldn't be doing ANYTHING to your team.

There is a known issue with the AI making unwanted changes. I will post about this in a sec in General Discussions.

The answer, The Wolf, is that just by being commish and GM, the AI SHOULDN'T make moves, but there is an open bug that is a top priority in the next patch.

It seems there are multi strains of the same AI-virus.

So we're hosed until we get another patch?

the work-around that I have been using, that SEEMS to work is I go into commish mode when I need to, for example to edit ballparks, and then I uncheck commish mode when I am actually "playing"

a couple extra clicks, not ideal, but does seem to work.

If your hope is that you can run your team without the AI making any changes, then yes, I think this will not be fully resolved until the next patch.

Not trying to depress you, but I'm also not trying to pull any wool over your eyes.

Not sure if this post means anything to you, but here it is just for information's sake:

Simple Question that would help us

I just can't fathom how this bug isn't a bigger issue. We are one and a half months post release and people can't even control their organizations fully? Isn't that the whole purpose of the game?

I think this has been a big issue, but I imagine the problem is that it took a long while to identify what the bug actually is.

For instance if you are not playing as a comissioner, than the minor league managers are supposed to be allowed to make changes (I think). Also you have to make sure why and when the minors managers make changes (ie only when there is an injury, only when you are trying to play players out of position, ect) before you can figure out which code you need to fix.

On top of all that at launch some people's games had their major league lineups being shifted around (not me) and that must have been a problem that took priority.

So, I don't know, I wouldn't get too ofended that this hasn't been addressed earlier, so long as it is being addressed now. Its not like it makes the game unplayable.

Pretty much. I would call this a superbug.

Play the game in windows, keep the 350 pg. game guide open as well. It will be easier to learn the game that way.

Everybody thinks their particular "bug" is the most urgent one.
