Build 12260
Since there were a few crashes and a pinch hitter problem, we've uploaded a slightly revised patcher for PC only at this stage
http://www.ootpbaseball2006.com/down...wnload&file=10 It will fix some more FTP issues for online leagues (Should be much faster now) as well as crash bugs logged yesterday and the pinch hitter issue The demos and Mac patch remain unaffected at this stage ... providing the PC guys confirm the fix we'll update everything for Tuesday. Thanks for the support guys (Im in a rush since Im away with work for the weekend) |

Eh...
Mark, Markus,
I downloaded/applied the updated patch and in the main screen the version number is still 12258. Also the crashes I reported in the tech forum are still occuring (messages about supposedly signed players and crashing upon accessing the SION webcast). Redownloaded the patch with the same result. Is the link still referring to the old patch

Same here........
I downloaded this new patch and started the game that was crashing on me yesterday. The game crashed again, in the same circumstances as it did yesterday. |

I don't know if this will help or not, but I had the game crashing alot will playing solo (manually playing games for one team). Once the crash occurred it happened over and over. I quickplayed the game that crashed and played the next day. Half way through crash again.
I am running a Vaio Laptop PCG-GRX with XP Service Pack 2, 4 - M CPU 1.80GHz, 768MB of RAM. I now I am running the computer at low RAM. I went into the game slowed down the PBP for the games and dropped the detail in the game setup from high to normal and the crashes ended. Also I disabled my virus software as I have found in the past with some other programs that it has caused the program to run VERY slow, namely Eastcoast Hockey Manager (the Fhockey one). Once I disabled the virus software the program sped up alot. Hopefully I have not cursed myself and they start now. These things may not be the problems but thought I would pass on what has helped me.
