But if you have not tried out the games the mods have made, some of them are really amazing the level of work they have contributed to help improve the "vanilla" release. Its worth a look. It is very similiar to the hard work that individuals do here to help make accurate settings, or databases of past players. Except they change the way the game plays. To try to get back on topic, should I now insult something? Just Kidding |

Markus like the idea and wanted to include it in an update, but it has not to this point been included. Frankly, that's just as well, because there are a lot of details about exactly how the active/inactive league concept should work. Those details would all need to be fleshed out. All that said, there is a workaround out there that lets you start a baseball universe with some leagues inactive, which you can then activate at a later date.

... it is an excellent system for a new version of software, but might have been unworkable for a new build like OOTP2006.

I feel the same way about "everything Microsoft" releases. I will not go near Vista (or whatever it is called) until service pack 2 is released.

Mac Versions
Hello,
I quickly skimmed this group of posts about the newest patch. Quick question. For Mac version do we need to uninstall our current version, download the full copy and then install it. Like we did with the other 1.02 patch? Just don't want to lose anything. Thanks

Did Marc post the correct link? On the page it reads:
We are pleased to make the second work in progress build of the OOTPB 2006 1.0.2 patch available. Please note this is not a final version of this patch, this will be available next week! I thought this was the final patch. |
