What type of OOTP simmer are you?

Just curious on what makes up the majority of the OOTP users in regards to simming with this game...

Well, I don't really think that the end can be assessed as of itself as being the end because what does the end feel like? It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you.

I was exclusively historical until this version. Once the general consensus says that '06 is tight enough to run a long historical sim without any oddities, I'll leave my fictional German league and go back to historical.

100% fictional. Fictional players, fictional teams, and fictional cities.

Fictional. I avoid using cities that have ML teams, as well.

All of them. I've never been able to get into a historical sim in OOTP before this version, but something about this version makes it much more engrossing for me. On top of that, I like to run a small fictional universe and a 'real players' universe that eventually turns into all fictional.

E. Universe with some real leagues and some fictional leagues running one day at a time roughly in conjunction with the real calendar.

Always fictional, but based, loosely, on the MLB system. I use the primary cities (NY, CHI, etc.) and randomly choose cities for expansion beginning in 1977. I've always simmed from about 1900-198x to get a league history, then take over an expansion team.

jazzrack's CLB has gotten me into fictoral leagues. a combination of historical and fictional. i guess that really means fictional because it didnt happen that way in real life

overall, 75% fictional and 25% historical.
