Demo Notification Screen

The blasted demo notification screen keeps popping up on my simulated August 1, 2006. I can't sim the day or play any games, the demo notification will pop up every time. My sim isn't "over", as it's good until the "real" August 30, 2006 (end of this month).

The screen gives me the option to purchase or cancel. When I cancel, the "buy now" screen pops up. Regardless, I can't get by 8/1/06.

And here, with help from the forum, I seemed to finally be able to enjoy the Sim! Drats!

Thoughts??? And no, I'm not ready to buy yet, but I'm getting closer!

You're not supposed to be able to get past 8/1/06 with the length you say you have, if I'm not mistaken.

I thought I had 30 days to test the demo from when I downloaded and set up my league, which was around Aug 1?

The demo is both time-limited as well as use-limited...you cannot sim past August 1st of the first season of any league, IIRC.

Yes, you have 30 days to use the game, but you cannot sim past August 1 in any baseball universe that you create. It's rather unfortunate and annoying, but I guess SI figures that this might encourage people to buy the game in order to get beyond that date.
