This sounds great. I am really looking forward to it.

I think OOTP2006 has been successful as a setup. If the long-term progression from here is anything like the progression from OOTP2 to OOTP6, we're in for quite a bit of enjoyment in the coming years. The main thing that has put OOTP way ahead of other games is that it makes much bigger strides from one version to the next. There was actually a time when Baseball Mogul was a much more playable game.

Start it? It's already in my MS Office Outlook 2003 calendar as a reminder!

You were not smiling when you typed this, were you? Looks like you hit the "1/!" key so hard, it stuck in the down position.

So just to confirm that for those of us who don't want the phantoms simming speed stays unaffected, right?

You said stars are back. Is that just like they were in 6.5? Are you still going to have overall and potential rating? Or is this confidential information?

You can either have the 20-80 ratings, stars (gold = actual & silver = potential) or none at all.

How about the minors report, will that make it back?

IRL if you have a guy tearing up AA you'll know about it pretty quickly, and not because one of your scouts takes 4 weeks to tell you, rather because your minor league manager is in constant contact with you about this sort of stuff.

Tks

Thanks for the answer. What about both?

Will we be able to set the 20-80 scale to 2-8 instead?? Or maybe have the individual ratings we see always round up the closest multiple of 5? Scouts don't tend to say a guy has 53 power...he would say 50 or 55 (or either 5 6 on a 2-8 scale).
