Early next year doesn't necessarily mean the start or middle of Jan ...

It's too early... sounds from Marc's post that they won't post things until late Jan

lol

And if someone says late January. That does NOT mean the very FIRST day of late January.

The news will come when it's ready, even if it means *gasp* February.

You mean we shouldn't look for it early in late January? How about the first day of mid-late January? I'll mark it on my calendar!

So I'll try harder to be patient and hopefully the board will be patient with me.
And yes, I am still continuing my campaign to promote adding a 'mass select' option to Out of the Park 10.

What day would that be?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but I wouldn't pine for it at any particular time. Just take it as it comes and be happy that they take the time to release it.

Ah yes, that most wonderful time of the OOTP year! That brief Summer between whining about last year's version and whining about next year's version: The OOTP Offseason, when hope springs eternal!

First day of late January... I am guessing Jan 16th. Okay - I will keep that date on my calendar

I have the 25th in the pool (first day of mid-late). sfgiants88 has apparently doubled down on the 23rd (second day of late) and February 1st.

maybe they felt it was tooooooo early last year, so they will make up for it and wait until a week before and spring it on everyone?

6 days of TRTR and on the 7th, he rested!

I know some stuff about v.2007. There will be stuff in the game.
Stuff and things.

(What? You wanted something more specific than that? Picky picky! )

I've been checking in every day since Christmas to see this or another thread start up on this! Hee Hee. Hey, posts like this show dedication for the game.

The thing this year is I'm trying to decide whether OOTP is my game this year or not. I'm waiting for news on the new game from Markus or someone to see what is in store. I am deciding between OOTP and PureSim for this year and I am only going to buy one. OOTP2006 was a dissapointment for me. I tried it solo and couldn't get the feel for it, I tried it in an online league and didn't like the league or the game setup. I ended up buying Baseball Mogul late last year to try it again. It was OK, but nothing all that special. There were some things I liked more than OOTP, but nothing to tear me away decisively. I liked 6.5 better than BM, and OOTP2006 about equal to BM.

I'm still in a 6.5 league, and will be until I puke and die or the league folds (hopefully I puke and die first).

So, I can't believe I am saying this, but information please! Is it gonna be PureSim or OOTP for me this year? One thing for sure, I'm not going to preorder. I'm going to wait for fan feedback on both games before I decide.

It's people like you that keep me up at night testing the new version, to make them happy.

Very logical. Getting the demo should be a must, in your case.

Preorder here as well. Just no other option. I have tried puresim so many times ... and each time all I ever think is... ech....
