There is an option for EITHER stars or ratings, not both. The game uses stars for the OVR/POT ratings, not for the other ratings such as CON/POW/STUFF etc. And yes, blue and gold.

Just to clarify, the overall rating is either stars or numeric depending on your league setting. The other ratings are just like you'd still expect.

Thank goodness stars are optional is all I'll add to this thread.

I assume if you have stars and ratings off that scouting is automatically off as well? If that were the case, how would you find international players from overseas?

In 2006, you can't. No scouting = no unearthing players from other countries.

That is not true. You can have Scouts on and not display stars or ratings. Not exactly sure what the scouts would report back to you...but I'll try it and see!

i will only play with scouts off. With scouts turned off will the stars be displayed? I hope so.

Please tell me if I'm reading this wrong, but I'm afraid the way I interpret the stars/numbers rating is that if using numbers, you can only use the option of 20-80. Will there not also be the option to use 1-20, which I prefer?

All i see is the option for 20-80, stars and nothing.
