Easy feature to re-add

Playing in a 6.5 league I realize how much I miss this seemingly simple feature...

Please let gamers enter/edit nicknames for players. Its nothing major, but it helps me personalize fictional players in fictional leagues. Plus it can just be fun.

I think you can edit/enter nicknames in 2006

Don't understand. You could do that in 2006 as the commissioner in the player edit mode.

EDIT: OK, I guess we established this was true for 2006; we'll wait for Raidergoo's verdict for 2007.

Well, its not that hard to jump in commish mode to add a nickname, and then jump right back out

OK, but it was just a check option on the manager home page to go into commissioner mode; it's not like you needed a separate identity. In that case, what's the diff?

Even in commish mode, if it works at all like '06, you can't tab out of it. You have to hit enter for the "stick." But I defer to your judgment. You're the one looking at it.

Just tested this and as long as you are in Commish mode you can edit the nickname and it sticks no matter what, or at least no matter what I tried to prevent it from sticking. Enter, tab, back arrow, different drop down all do not prevent the nickname from sticking.
