Am I not understanding this then... having two different people control every aspect of the two different teams.... isn't that possible in a hot-seat fashion?
I can set it so I control both teams fully (I tested a bunch of pick off stuff this way)... what can I not control when I do that that someone should be able to?

Remember, you can always use remote assistant, pcanywhere, etc. to play head to head that way.
I have tested this in 2006, so it will work the same way in 2007. Just connect to each other and allow the other person to control the mouse/keyboard. You then take turns pressing keys, for offense and defense. It worked very well when I tried it last year.

I don't think so. I believe the OOTP2006 only allows one human manager.

I apologize, I don't have 2006 on this machine, or I would check it myself.

I don't know, but I think these things haven't changed in 2007. You could set it so you control all functions of each manager.
Maybe I'll call it up later and check it... if I'm not asleep.

Let me know if you could please Battists, I thought you could only have 1 human mangage in a game. If you can have 2, that wouls solve my problems as we mostly meet for head to head play face to face...

Let's let battists confirm this when he returns since he's the authority here. I think he's going to say "no" however. You can only have one human manager in a game being played out from what I see.
In my FBL, I made two human managers and assigned them to two teams with an upcoming game. When I went to manage that game, the only team controls available were for the human manager currently signed on, and the control choices were either the current human manager or AI. The controls for the other team were grayed out. During the game, you can come back to the options screen but the same situation prevails. Also, you cannot log off as one human manager and sign on as another human manager while a game is in progress. |

I'd really appreciate you bringing this up, it is a complant I have made in the past, and it makes the game near useless for me without such a feature (I play in a league where we get together to sim out games). I have no idea why this did not make 2006 (after being in the previous releases), and really, really would like to see this retored to ootp. I really can't upgrade to the new engine without it. |
