Offseason/preseason and league history question

In OOTP2006, if you made league structure changes during the offseason rather than the preseason, the game didn't handle it right. The changes would show up in the league history for the already-completed year.

Is this fixed in 2007? Can you make structure changes in the offseason without it affecting the history of the season that has just finished?

This is important because it allows for things like expansion clubs being able to participate in the bulk of the free agency period, which they can't do if they're not added until preseason.

A major suggestion for an update some day...

It seems to open up the possibility of doing league changes in the offseason.

What about in player profiles? I'm running a universe with promotion/delegation, and currently when I promote or demote a team, in a players profile it will look as if that player (and his team) were in the current league, rather than the league it were in that year.

For instance:

John Thomas plays for Atlanta, who was promoted from the CBL to the PL in 1906. In his career stats, it'll say:

1904 ATL (PL)
1905 ATL (PL)
1906 ATL (PL)
1907 ATL (PL)

Where it should say

1904 ATL (CBL)
1905 ATL (CBL)
1906 ATL (PL)
1907 ATL (PL)

Can this be fixed?

I reported this in a thread in the OOTP2006 forums at one point and Markus posted there that it would be fixed for 2007, so I assume it is.
