Importing A League

I know that we will be able to import a 6.51 league into OOTP2007. My question is at what stage should the 6.51 league be at?

(ie end of season, begin on new season, etc..)

For 2006, I'm pretty sure you had to import when the league was on Opening Day. I'm guessing that will be the case here as well, but I'm no beta tester.

bingo. For 6.5/6.12, the league MUST be on opening day.
