Free Website Provider For OOTP 2007
I ran the "Back To The Future League" ever since OOTP 3.0.............many many years ago. I always upgraded to all the new versions but when OOTP discontinued their server (http://www.bttf.ootp-online.com/index.shtml) in December 2006 I was unsuccessful in finding a new website provider with enough free space to hold the files needed for my league with OOTP2006. I tried to use http://bttf.leagueserver.net/ but failed due to inexperience in FTP and uploading the old website files as well as the limited space issue and I had to give up the league. Does anyone know of a free website provider that will be able to host my league with the new game and assist me with setting it up?
I really would like to continue that league but have been unsuccessful. HELP !!! Thanks Steve Strzepek strzepeksc@earthlink.net

if you are looking for totally free options, i wish you luck.
there are very, very cheap options. you can go over to godaddy and buy yourself a .info domain (on sale for $0.99) you will then get a "free" hosting credit. and if memory serves, it like 5 gigs of webspace. you just have to be willing to accept the advertising bar on your website.... servers arn't free you know. eventhough i have a webserver right in my house, and the fiber connection to make it work well, i still pay for a webhost. the reliability was more important than the 150 bucks for 2 years of server space i just paid for. (hostmonster has a great deal if you are willing to pay for a year or 2 up front)
