You didn't; he returned sixteen days ago.
And he's STILL not The Wolf, no matter how much you people would like him to be.

This thread is very misleading, it should be the welcome back MD thread...
![]() I'd like to say that I LOVE this game. I liked OOTP2006...but this is so much better. First of all, I love the game screen. Having Houston's field as the backdrop is much better than Turner field (I know you can change it but it's not the same). The game screen is much more colorful as well. Secondly, the option to add/delete leagues is tremendous. I'm a perfectionist, and I always get new ideas and scrap old leagues, now I won't have a problem with that anymore. This game just has that "it" factor. I'm soo happy!!! |

If this is a sign of the return of the OOTP community's soul and, um, "spirited unity", then I'll add my cheers, too!
Glad to see you again, Mal. (By the way, I really wish people wouldn't use threads in this forum to continue carping about OOTP2006. Like it or not, that game is not the issue anymore. . . .) |

As much as I was disappointed in v2006, I am quite confident that v2007 would not be as great as it is without having that growing pain. With this new release, we should never again have to hear about how 6.5 is the better version.
2007 is a complete game, and it will only get better.

So that's what the Rangers' field looks like? And those are the luxury suites out there in center field? |

It's been a number of years since I've been up there. I was a regular visitor in the later 90's and back in those days, one of those in left center was actually a private club for season ticket holders. It had an outside balcony that looked directly over and into the visitors bullpen. It was a fairly wild scene in there, particularly on the weekends. Don't know if it still exists as a private club.

I say more noobs the merrier and I'm sure that SI would agree as the more noobs buy the game the more chance of the game carrying on and on and on.
