I love playing historical leagues and normal try and interfere as little as possible. That said, I know 07 changes the settings each year for the financials, but does it do the same for the strategies the AI uses. What I mean is, in 1901 stealing is through the roof, while relievers and closers are rarely used. Does the game changes those settings to reflect the eras it sims into. Ie: Does it change the frequency that the AI use relievers when you reach the 70s and 80s, or do you still have to do that manually like in 06?

Yes, it does!

The historicals can be set to automatically update the strategy settings to any year. Plus, you can manually go into league setup and pick a year, and it will not only change the financials but also the strategy settings to model that year.
