Skydog, just a quick question: I really like your overall settings but would love to have a little more HR's. 30 years into my game I only had one 50+HR season and mostly the top HR hitter doesn't have more than 35.
What would be the easiest way to tweak this? Thanks. Last edited by Skywalker76; 05-08-2007 at 04:42 PM. |

Even though the teams have no players try this, release all and run draft. This will reset the draft and hopefully the error.... |

Quick question....should I need to make any adjustments to the totals/modifiers to get similar results w/ a 36 team setup?
This is a very big online league that is starting up and we want to make sure our statistical output is inline before going live. |

Hey Skydog,
I ran a 15 season test league and I noticed that the ERA and hitting are a little bit lower then I would like. What is the best way to change this without causing a bad chain reaction with other stats? |

Has anyone here tried these settings with smaller leagues, say 8 teams?

I'd test it myself, but my computer is so damn slow. I'll see what I can do overnight, I suppose.

Of course, I screwed up the overnight test but not averaging out the ballpark factors. And, somehow, 1 years were playing in the league.
Anyways, could someone please do me the favor of running a sim with a 6 or 8 team league with the basic numbers and just seeing what you come up with?

Hopefully the experts here can help me fine tune my league settings some.
I only have an 8 team league that I play out every game, so I have a small sample size so far, but the K and BB totals seem out of wack to me. I'm using the 1.01 settings. Let me know what I should try changing and by how much. Pitching Totals <table class="lpo" style="margin-bottom: 12px;" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="0" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td class="h1_l" colspan="17"> Imaginary League Totals </td></tr><tr><td class="hsc2_l" style="width: 180px;">Team</td><td class="hsn2">W</td><td class="hsn2">L</td><td class="hsn2">PCT</td><td class="hsn2">GB</td><td class="hsn2">ERA</td><td class="hsn2">S</td><td class="hsn2">IP</td><td class="hsn2">HA</td><td class="hsn2">R</td><td class="hsn2">ER</td><td class="hsn2">HRA</td><td class="hsn2">BB</td><td class="hsn2">K</td><td class="hsn2">OAVG</td><td class="hsn2">CG</td><td class="hsn2">SHO</td></tr><tr><td class="s1_l"><a href="../teams/">TOTALS</a></td><td class="s1"></td><td class="s1"></td><td class="s1"></td><td class="s1"></td><td class="s1">3.50</td><td class="s1">68</td><td class="s1">2022.1</td><td class="s1">1860</td><td class="s1">874</td><td class="s1">787</td><td class="s1">80</td><td class="s1">896</td><td class="s1">1079</td><td class="s1">.246</td><td class="s1">16</td><td class="s1">16</td></tr></tbody></table> Batting Totals <table class="lpo" style="margin-bottom: 12px;" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="0" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td class="h1_l" colspan="18"> Imaginary League Totals </td></tr><tr><td class="hsc2_l" style="width: 180px;">Team</td><td class="hsn2">W</td><td class="hsn2">L</td><td class="hsn2">PCT</td><td class="hsn2">GB</td><td class="hsn2">AVG</td><td class="hsn2">HR</td><td class="hsn2">R</td><td class="hsn2">AB</td><td class="hsn2">H</td><td class="hsn2">2B</td><td class="hsn2">3B</td><td class="hsn2">BB</td><td class="hsn2">K</td><td class="hsn2">OBP</td><td class="hsn2">SLG</td><td class="hsn2">OPS</td><td class="hsn2">SB</td></tr><tr><td class="s1_l"><a href="../teams/">TOTALS</a></td><td class="s1"></td><td class="s1"></td><td class="s1"></td><td class="s1"></td><td class="s1">.246</td><td class="s1">80</td><td class="s1">874</td><td class="s1">7568</td><td class="s1">1860</td><td class="s1">304</td><td class="s1">59</td><td class="s1">896</td><td class="s1">1079</td><td class="s1">.330</td><td class="s1">.333</td><td class="s1">.664</td><td class="s1">155</td></tr></tbody></table> |

SkyDog -
Very nice!!! I am currently setting up a league, and was wondering what you would suggest for a Japanese league or any other foreign league being added to the universe? Should we leave those the same as default? |

Skydog, you mentioned desiring starters who finish what they started, but you show your endurance setting at low. Is that correct?
