Just wanted to say...
This is the best iteration of OOTP yet.
For the first time ever I'm enjoying running a historical going back to the beginnings of baseball. Facegen makes the game come alive and all the wonderful customization features are a dream come true for someone who began playing baseball games oh so long ago using a deck of cards and pair of dice. Thanks Markus and Co! Good job! |

As a fellow historical simmer, I agree wholeheartedly.
As a diehard fan since OOTP2, I'm proud of Markus for all he's done with auto-expansion, team changes, divisional realignments, accuracy, right on down the line. It is a lot less like work once you get to the 60s and 70s. Usually that's as far as I would get, as it was just too much of a process to fight expansion. Everything is automated. That was key. BTW, have you tried the Giambo face pack? It blows facegen out of the water for historical sims. Will

I liked facegen for my fictional stuff but yes have used Gambo's for historical. Just have't gone back as far as 1901 before because of those expansion issues.
