Can you install this directly over OOTP 2007?, or does it have to be installed in another folder and all my currant ootp2007 leagues imported to 2008?

OOTP 2008 installs in a different directory. I have both on my pc, and alternate running them. If you want to move a OOTP 2007 lg over into OOTP 8, just copy the lg folder from the saved games folder in OOTP 2007 to the saved game folder in OOTP 8.

No it doesn't.
The Folder is know called Out of the Park Developments and saved games folder will only show up when you unlicense the 07 Version and you have to copy over saved games folders you want and it takes for ever.

I just copied a lg folder from

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2007\data\saved_games

to

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 8\data\saved_games

The file size was 156 megabytes, and the copy took less than 20 seconds.

This is inaccurate. You can absolutely continue using OOTP2007 after you purchase OOTP8.

I'm not sure if the saved_games folder for OOTP8 is created until the first time you run the game, but if it does seem to be missing, there's nothing stopping you from creating it yourself. It goes in the exact parallel place as it did for OOTP2007 (so ...\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP8\data\saved_games\).

really? that sucks, my saved games folder is almost 8 gig and over 350k of files. Gonna take a loooong time to move that

dude, cut & paste. it takes no time at all and won't eat up an extra 8 gigs of space

Cut and paste the whole folder. It will just change a single entry in the disk directory so it will need less than a second. If it's on the same disk!
