Can't Hire Coaches or scout countries

I apologize if this has been resolved elsewhere and I haven;t found it. Same issue as the original poster, and I do not know what to do...

I can't hire coaches either, I tried everything in this thread, the Action button is just not there, and sometimes it is, but offer contract is unavailabe, and I have empty coach positions I need to fill, but it won't let me.

If you go to to "Available Personnel" under the league tab, and click, and the names of all the available personnel come up, have you tried right clicking on any of the names? I remember I had a hard time figuring out how to sign personnel my first few times also, and I discovered the only time I was able to get the offer contract option to come up was by right clicking on the name. However, if you're using a Mac, this might be different, and I'm probably not helping.

I have the Mac version- and have the same problem. I can't hire personal for whatever reason. If I change to commissioner status I can. Never figured this out. I don't play too often myself- I play in an online league 99% of the time.
