The only thing is, to make the consistent and attractive to play, we might have to limit teams to US city-based teams. It's just going to make things confusing if we include hobbit league teams and so forth.

Yeah, I'd like to keep it to US teams only too. Just makes sense to me. (And remember, since it was my idea, we should include my Kansas City Tornadoes automatically)

Hmmm, too bad it couldn't be an international league...
If so I would suggest Around the Globe Baseball (AGB) or World Wide Baseball (WWB) For a US based league I offer the following: Stars and Stripes Baseball League (SSBL) Barnstormers Baseball Association (BBA) Great American Baseball Association (GABA) The Great American Game (TGAG) |

Raider, perhaps we should set a deadline, after which we pick a handful of these and poll the community for vote? Not that it truly needs a vote, but it's kinda fun.

If we kept this game pure USA there would be no developers left. Bad idea.

We are talking about a simple quick start game I thought. If someone wants a international league, couldn't they just use the game and set one up for themselves? Baseball is American. I know other countries play it now, but it all started in the US. I would think the quick start should be a American one.

![]() Note that changing the text elements on the logo is not a problem, so it can easily be changed to match either of the names quoted previously.

What I was saying to those who want a USA only universe is that the game has grown international and if we were to follow the USA only logic to its conclusions, Markus and Andreas would have to go.

I like the name American Baseball Association.
For team names why not take the 16 largest metro areas (exlcuding Riverside, CA which is too close to LA). The cities split nicely into a east and west league or division. I use these cities a lot for fictional MLB type league. I simply took the Country and split it off at the Mississippi River. Cities: EAST: New York, Chicago, Philiadelphia, Miami, Washington, Atlanta, Detroit, Boston WEST: Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco, Phoenix, Seattle, Minneapolis, San Diego If a 20 teams you could add Tampa and Baltimore to the East and St. Louis and Denver to the West. The quickstart could just use random team names that the user can change and just have all the Uniforms, Caps and Logos based on the city name. This way they would be generic. Why wouldn't it just model the MLB structure? I think most people could relate to this....and especially people who are new to the game. They can relate to the real cities and jump right in. I think if I was new to the game, I'd be like....what the heck.....why are there only 20 teams or something like that. Then you get immediate disappointment.

I have the logo as a CorelDRAW file (actually, I have all the logos I've done as CorelDRAW files, since that's what I prefer to use). This means I can easily change the league name shown on the logo to something else. Want it to read "American Baseball Association" or "Stars and Stripes Baseball League" instead? No problem.

well when you put it that way....
I named my fictional league Northern Union Baseball and moved Anaheim to Mexico City...so I throw this name out there, although there are some great names already. North Union Baseball League |
