I am still playing OOTP8 and very happy with the game so I am not in a huge hurry for the release. And I did pre-order. And I still have trust in the company. Very odd....

Not odd at all... after all OOTP 2007/8 was the best PC game (it won the PC Gamer award) last year

Technically speaking the dates given for the release have been around May and Spring 2008.

I do not see anywhere that a May release was promised.

When you see what goes on "behind the scenes" (how everything looks when it's raw, how the food is thrown together, all the discarded rotting remnants) it's not all that appetizing. Yet when it finally comes out to the table, you still can't wait to dig in!

I didn't mean that as a shot at the game. I have had no problems with the company or with the product. I have put so many hours into OOTP8 that I have gotten a return on my money many times over. It just seems that those of us that continue to pre-order the game every year are in the minority. Or so it seems on the boards.
