How do you go about doing a league where certain team relocations don't take place as they did historically (for example, one where the Dodgers never leave Brooklyn) and expansion goes different places (for example, where the Braves stay in Milwaukee or Boston and an expansion team is placed in Atlanta at an apporpriate time)?

Or, even more difficultly, place expansion teams in cities that NEVER had Major League baseball historically (like Havana, Mexico City, or Portland) and thus don't have any park data?

That's good to hear. I'll happily create the actual structures manually if that's one of my options. Except I guess I'll have to divide the NL into two subleagues.

Simply turn the 'auto-expand' option off, then create a team wherever and whenever you want (just make sure to do it in the offseason). For places with no park data, you'd pretty much have to make it up.

And would that be the way to also deal with retaining older stadiums instead of progressing to newer ones? As an example, what if I wanted to keep the White Sox in old Comiskey and never build the new park?

I was a little surprised to see that there were no schedule files for pre-1901. Since the game generates schedules that aren't suitable for 19th century play, that was a disappointment. Ping, LGO.
