So who has the oldest solo league? (in versions)

Kelric's post in another thread got my thinking about this when he mentioned never carrying any of his solo leagues over into a new version of the game. Personally, I'm the same way. I aways start new leagues when a new version comes out.

So who has some of the oldest solo leagues out there? not in years, but by the version of the game you started your league with? Anyone go as far back as ootp2 or 3 with their league and still playing it?

My current solo league was started in v4 using Rolen17's (Erich's) real player 2002 roster. I am just about to finish the 2016 season and will be ready to import into v9.

Too me this is one of OOTP's greatest features. To think of the thousands of hours of enjoyment I've gotten seeing my league over the seasons and especially my Cubs play out every game for 14 years.

My LF should hit the 500 HR mark barring injury in 2018 and to think I will have witnessed everyone of them. Mark Prior was injured in June of my 2016 season with 289 career wins and I saw every one of them. Will he make it back in 2017 to get to 300? I certainly hope so.

i had one from v4, but stopped after v2006 cause i could never get it to import to 2007 or ootp8. Would always crash. Hopefully i can get it to import in v9 Loved that league. Was in like 2163 or something.

Agreed. OOTP's backwards capacity helps make it second to none.

Started my solo league with v6

And I third on the BC of OOTP. Makes the game more enjoyable knowing year in and year out you can still have the same team and players.

I probably have the oldest one, because one of mine pre-dates OOTP.

Back when OOTP was first starting, I manually copied my High Heat league over. I still have it (it's in V8 format now), and only a handful of the original players are still playing.

Mine's older because I copied it from Micro League to EWBB II to Tony LaRusa to Hardball to BBPro to High Heat to OOTP.

sorry got you there, mine came from stratomatic, from APBA and earlier from this:

In all seriousness, I did play all of those games (including the lesser know cousin to electric football) but my longest OOTP league was one I had from v2 through v6.5. I tried importing it into 2006, but found too much was missing, so I started over. I am still playing that one now.
