In 2002, I was working for a gov't defense contractor and had just been transferred to a new missile defense program. I was ensured that the new program had lots of work to do. Well, there was lots of work, but it wasn't coding. The program had just started so it was all requirements and procurement work. That meant I had absolutely nothing to do for at least three or four months.

A couple of months into this nightmare, I stumbled onto this program called Out of the Park Baseball 4. I gotta tell ya, that certainly help remedy the boredom. You might think getting paid $55000/year to surf the internet sounds like a great job, but that couldn't be further from the truth. However, getting paid that sum to play OOTP wasn't all that bad.

I have been around since OOTP 4! I loved it so much. I have bought every version since except for 8. I have pre-ordered 9 because I like the list of improvements!

I started with 3, I found the game when 2 was out, but 3 was due out so I waited...

I am around since the very first one. Lots of memories of time gone by. Great games made better all the time.

I believe I've been around since v4. Kind of taken the last few versions off since they didn't really cater to my style (like to play MLB style leagues with MLB rosters).

Edit: Nothing to do with you, Bears.
