And this is why I don't run a background virus scanner. I just scan files I think may be dodgy individually.
AVG is a piece of junk. I used it for years and got tired of it's nonsense. Clamwin user now. |

PLEASE DO NOT USE THE AWFUL SUGGESTION LINKED IN THE FIRST POST!
Adding the entire Windows directory as an exception is, quite frankly, a bad idea. Instead of doing that, just add the actual OOTP8.exe file as an exception and the game will work fine. |
