The mirror does work very well. First time I tried, it started downloading. Currently at just 7% but it is downloading at around 70 kb per second (total time is supposed to be 30 more minutes. Just the amount of time left in the Russia - Sweden game!!!

Yup, the server overload is frustrating. And maybe it would have been nice to have this released at 12:01 this morning instead of two in the afternoon.

On the other hand, we have a quality product from an attentive developer being released on the specified day. This is not Battlecruiser 3000AD, for crying out loud. Relax.

it's unfortunate no one with the mac version is helping any other mac people out. i cant even start the download! Us mac people are treated like second class citizens!

The mirrors are updated on the first post in the thread. There are 2 Windows mirrors now. And one mirror for the Mac install.

The first mirror is downloading at 12 kbs. The new mirror only got up to 8 kbs. Thats not good at all.

Wow. You must have the game already, huh?

And it's nothing like going to GameStop, it's a different medium. If it was released at GameStop, I honestly would have already had my copy and be at home playing it, not sitting here hitting refresh all day.

The OOTPdev one just completely stopped. UK mirror was about 4 kb/sec. The other mirror is going at about 30kb/sec (an hour+ left). Hopefully we get the torrent up soon. I wouldn't mind seeding for awhile after I'm done.

If the game were at gamestop it wouldn't be out today. We would have had to wait for packaging, shipping to the stores, creation of the discs, etc

They all seem to go slower over time. My rate has dropped more than half of where it was at. Oh well, I hope you have a good book near you.

patience is not popular is this country. nobody likes to wait in line, everybody wants to cut in front of you when driving, everyone blows thru yellow lights risking their life and others, and yet very few people care about being on time, never could understand that. the game is worth waiting for, i'm sure those 3 developers and the beta team have put one helluva'n effort in making this game something that we will be talking about in thousands and thousands of posts. download it and it will come

I was riding Mirror 3, but it just royally choked going from 300+kb/sec to a steady 60. Atleast I'm getting somewhere though.
